The annual festival, a culmination of a year’s community activities using the Satellite Hub system, brings together all the Hubs. The event spans three days, focusing on a specific theme from Sports for Conservation, Health, Education, and Tourism, while preserving Traditional African Sports and Games. The 2024 theme is Conservation, with Lukango Tree Conservancy and Uganda Wildlife Education Centre leading the workshops. Sportsuganda Ltd UK and Sembeza Africa will manage Quality Physical Education, Skipping, Robotics, Coding, Traditional African Sports, and Quidditch. The event will also introduce a Baseline Fitness Test for Primary and Pre-Primary children, a first in Uganda. Volunteers from several countries, including Brazil, Kenya, Tanzania, the UK, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Uganda, will participate.
